1 month old!!!

Our baby girl is already 1 month old!  I can't believe how fast that month has gone by...and how soon I will be going back to work.  Next Wednesday is coming way too fast!  Gwendolyn is doing great!  She's taking a bottle really well, so that's good news for Mandy and my mom, who will be watching her.  She is doing much better with her baths...not much crying...I think she is beginning to like the warm water.  Some gas pains off and on, but overall we're adjusting to life as a family of 3!

Gwendolyn Rose - 3 weeks and 1 day old



Our little girl...

Sorry, it's been so long and I haven't updated this.  We've been quite busy.  Gwennie is doing great with eating and sleeping.  She's a pretty happy baby...for the most part. :-D  Her growth is great.  We're up over her birth weight now; 7lbs 10oz.  She also grew an inch already too.  Here are some pictures of her firsts...

Gwendolyn Rose was born February 23, 2011 at 1:16pm.  She weighed 7lbs 4.5oz and measured 18.5in long. 

We're home and doing great!  Getting her all settled in.

Update...

Doctor's appointment went well. We had a non-stress test done to see how Gwennie is doing. She's doing well. Her heart rate was 125bpm with the doppler and it fluctuated some with the non-stress test, but they said she was fine.  So pretty much we're at a stand still until I go into labor. No further progression, no labor, and Gwennie is quite content. We have another appointment next Wednesday to do a sono, another non-stress test, and exam. At that appointment we will talk induction.

40 weeks!

I'm 40 weeks today!  Time for Gwennie to come out and greet the world!  However, I think that she's not quite ready yet.  We had a doctor's appointment on Monday, and I did not dilate any further.  The only change was that she had dropped another cm to -1.  0 is engaged and ready for labor...so she's got 1 more cm to go.  I have another doctor's appointment tomorrow (Thursday) to see if we've made more progress.  In the mean time, I've been trying to focus on other things.  God's timing is perfect and we have to trust it.  ♥
