Update...

Doctor's appointment went well. We had a non-stress test done to see how Gwennie is doing. She's doing well. Her heart rate was 125bpm with the doppler and it fluctuated some with the non-stress test, but they said she was fine.  So pretty much we're at a stand still until I go into labor. No further progression, no labor, and Gwennie is quite content. We have another appointment next Wednesday to do a sono, another non-stress test, and exam. At that appointment we will talk induction.

40 weeks!

I'm 40 weeks today!  Time for Gwennie to come out and greet the world!  However, I think that she's not quite ready yet.  We had a doctor's appointment on Monday, and I did not dilate any further.  The only change was that she had dropped another cm to -1.  0 is engaged and ready for labor...so she's got 1 more cm to go.  I have another doctor's appointment tomorrow (Thursday) to see if we've made more progress.  In the mean time, I've been trying to focus on other things.  God's timing is perfect and we have to trust it.  ♥

39 weeks!

39 weeks: Baby weighs as much as a mini-watermelon.  Your baby matches up to a mini-watermelon, weighing a bit over 7 pounds. (Length: about 20 inches, head to heel.)

Here's the update:
From the doctor's appointment Tuesday, I am dilated to 2cm and still 75% effaced.  Gwennie was still dropped to -2.  Her heart rate was good and so was my weight and her measurements.  So we're just playing the waiting game.  Have been somewhat uncomfortable, but nothing regular or having any sort of pattern.  Hopefully something will happen soon.  We can't wait to meet our little girl!♥

Update...

Still no Gwennie yet.  We thought maybe Friday night, but it turned out to be nothing but a little discomfort.  We'll see.  Had quite the snow storm here and I've attached some photos.  Chris shoveled the driveway two days in a row and spent a total of 3 hours doing it.  I had a total of 3 snow days right in a row, which has never happened before.

Translation:  "Can I go out and play?"

Snow drifts much much bigger than Bella.

I also decided to make a few more burp cloths from cloth diapers, so I included those pictures as well.

Our next doctor's appointment is Tuesday, so hopefully we've made some progress by then. ♥

38 week appointment update...

We had our appointment and everything went great!  Gwennie was a little shy during the sono and covered most of her face with her hands, but we got a few pictures.  She is 6lbs and 11oz so far and has a heartrate of 138bpm.  I am not dilated more than 1cm but am now 75% effaced.  She needs to wait until the storm is through before deciding to be ready.  ♥

37 weeks again...more baby bump pictures ♥

37 Weeks:
Baby is as long as a stalk of Swiss chardYour baby is as lofty as a stalk of Swiss chard and weighs 6 1/3 pounds. (Length: a bit over 19 inches, head to heel.)Your full-term (yay!) baby is gaining about 1/2 ounce a day and getting his first sticky poop (called meconium) ready. He's also brushing up on skills for the outside world: blinking, sucking, inhaling, exhaling, and gripping (it's getting strong!).
